Groups
How do I invite someone?
Open the group and share its invite link or code. The other person opens the link, or enters the code from the Groups tab after signing in.
Can a group use more than one currency?
Yes. Each currency is kept separately, so balances are always exact. Summaries show each currency on its own, with an optional overall total converted at the day's rates.
Settling up
How do I record that someone paid me back?
Open the group's balances and choose settle up, or record a payment. Balances update straight away for everyone in the group.
Can I remind someone?
Yes, when they owe you in a group. Reminders are calm, and the app limits how often they can be sent.
Personal spending
Who can see my personal expenses?
Only you. Personal expenses and budgets are never shown to your groups.
Can my budget follow my card statement?
Yes. Choose a monthly period or a card statement period in the Personal tab, and optionally set a daily limit.
Siri and the widget
Say "Add an expense in Sums" to log a personal expense without opening the app, or add the Quick Add widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen to jump straight to the add form.
Your account
How do I change the language or theme?
Go to Account. Language, theme and start screen apply immediately and are kept on your device.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Account, then Delete account. What is deleted and what is kept for your groups is explained in the privacy policy.
