Privacy policy
Blockare is made by Mert, an independent developer. The short version: Blockare has no servers and no accounts, and the developer does not collect, store or sell any personal data about you. The game is free and supported by a banner ad, which is served by Google AdMob; Google processes the data described below. If you buy Remove Ads, no ads are requested at all.
What stays on your device
- Your scores, best scores, statistics and saved games.
- Your settings, such as sound and haptics, and whether the tutorial has been shown.
- Whether you have bought Remove Ads, so the banner stays away from the moment the app opens.
This data is never sent to the developer. Deleting the app deletes it.
The app does not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise location.
Ads (Google AdMob)
To show the banner, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect:
- device and advertising identifiers (Apple's advertising identifier, IDFA, only if you allow tracking);
- approximate location derived from your IP address;
- ad interactions (views, taps) and general information about app usage;
- crash and performance data.
Google uses this data to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud and, if you allow it, personalise ads. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Your choices
- Tracking (App Tracking Transparency): on first launch iOS asks whether Blockare may track you. If you decline, ads still appear but are not personalised. Change it any time in Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking.
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: Google's consent form asks for your consent before ad data is processed. Change your choice any time with the Privacy Choices button on the main menu.
- Remove Ads: after this one-time purchase the app stops requesting ads, and the consent and tracking prompts are no longer shown.
Purchases
Remove Ads is sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. The developer never sees your payment details or Apple Account; the app only receives Apple's confirmation that the purchase belongs to you, which it checks on your device.
Game Center
Leaderboards and achievements use Apple Game Center. If you are signed in, your scores and achievements are sent to Apple and handled under Apple's privacy policy. Game Center is optional.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), you can ask for access to your data, its correction or its deletion, object to its use or complain to your data protection authority. The developer holds no personal data about you; because ad data is held by Google, such requests can also be sent to Google. Write to the address below and you will get an answer within 30 days.
Children
Blockare is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
